Water facts
- SEQ has nearly 80,000 rainwater tanks, a figure which is expected to grow to 600,000 by 2026.
- Under the Queensland Development Code the targeted water savings per household per year for new detached houses is 70,000 litres, while for new townhouses and units it is 42,000 litres.
