MEET THE RESEARCHER

Professor Beate Escher is an environmental toxicologist originally from Germany.

She received her PhD in Environmental Chemistry from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich (ETHZ). Prior to joining Entox, she worked as a senior scientist at the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science (Eawag) in Dübendorf, Switzerland, and lectured at ETHZ.
